Nigerian Wins 2019 BNP Paribas Group Deep Tech Prize

Nigerians have recently been making global waves, as now reported a Nigerian wins the 2019 BNP Paribas Group Deep Tech Prize.

Adebayo Alonge who won the 2019 BNP Paribas Group Deep tech Prize for inventing a handheld nano-scanner for detecting fake drugs contested alongside 4500 tech startups from 119 countries in the world and won the grand prize of one hundred thousand pounds.

Naijazzy gathered that he is the first African to win the contest. The contest which consists of 80 finalists in 12 categories  took place in Paris from 13th March to 15th March 2019.

It was also gathered that Alonge was once a victim of fake drugs that he almost lost his life 15 years ago.

He is the CEO and founder of RxAll.
