Nigerian Artists, Burna Boy And Rema’s Songs Make Barack Obama’s List Of Favourite Tracks

It is no longer news that Nigerian musicians have been gaining enough recognition internationally and have also achieved great feats.

Just recently, the former president of the United States of America, Barack Obama, took to social media to share a list of his favourite songs from the year 2019.

Amazingly, two songs from Nigerian artistes made the list to the joy of fans on social media. Grammy nominated singer, Burna Boy’s track titled “Anybody” as well as Mavin fast-rising star, Rema’s “Iron Man”, made the cut for Obama.

Sharing the list, Obama captioned it:

From hip-hop to country to The Boss, here are my songs of the year. If you’re looking for something to keep you company on a long drive or help you turn up a workout, I hope there’s a track or two in here that does the trick.
