Nigerians are outrageously talented and you see that every day. I mean, anywhere we find ourselves we perform excellently. This time around, 22-year-old David Adeyemi, a creative Nigerian innovator has emerged the first African appointee of The World Student Organization.
He was appointed as the Nigeria Country Director for World Student Organization. The genius had defeated over 11,000 other African innovators to clinch the highly coveted position. The young innovator had record-breaking scores in all the assessments he was put through by the organization during the interview period.
The founder of World Student Organization, Dimas Satrio Pradhana had this to say about Adeyemi:
“His versatility swept us off the floor during our interview session and the entire World Student Organization community is looking forward to his exploit and contributions.”
Speaking further on Adeyemi’s innovations, he said:
“We have been watching his sustainability, community development, security and environmental projects and innovations for about three years now and we are really awed to see such an extremely talented and passionate young Nigerian interested in contributing to the development of his country in his own little way.”
Adeyemi on his part speaking after his emergence said:
“I will be overseeing other African countries for a very short period of time because my primary goal is for Nigeria.”
It is worthy to note that, the World Student Organization is a Berlin-based body founded based on the concerns of youths towards rising and present global issues. It aims to build a bridge among students all over the world so as to produce solutions for these issues. Adeyemi is expected to collaborate with social innovators and organizations across Nigeria as the country director for the World Student Organization in Nigeria.
David Adeyemi is an innovator, Youth Industrial Leader and Adviser for Light Up Africa, International Global Network Ambassador and 2018 LEAP Africa Fellow. He is a problem solver and the founder of Ecogenic Solutions which is a startup social enterprise that recycles food wastes into Eco-friendly and 100% safe domestic cleaning solutions.
David who was enlisted by SME100 as part of the 25 Most Enterprising Youth in Nigeria is a graduate of Microbiology, Ajayi Crowther University.
