Nigerian female singer and songwriter, Tiwatope Savage, known professionally as Tiwa Savage, recently explained how she made her hit single “49-99” in just 40 minutes.
The singer revealed in a recent interview that she recorded her hit track “49-99” in just 40 minutes. According to her, she had to do very little with creating the track which was written by herself and Olamide. The track was done before she got there and all she had to do was put in her own effort. The song turned out to be a hit after recording and she decided to release the first take.

It is worthy to note that the song “49-49” is Tiwa Savage’s latest hit, and it’s already racked up more than 5 million YouTube views to date. The single is produced by Pheelz.
On the track, Tiwa references Fela Kuti’s “Shuffering and Shmiling,” which was critical of the systems that led to poverty in Nigeria.
