Davido’s Concert Sells out the 20,000 capacity O2 Arena in London

The night of January 27, 2019, will not be forgotten easily by London residents as Davido carved his name in the history books, selling out the prestigious O2 Arena and highlighting the fact that his dominance on a worldwide scale is on the increase.

Davido has successfully joined Wizkid who was the first Nigerian artiste to have taken on the main O2 stage and successfully sold out his AfroRepublik concert in 2018.

Tim Westwood and DJ Ecool played some of the finest songs from home as they kicked-off the event with hits from Zlatan, Mayorkun, Peruzzi and a host of others. Nigerian rising star, Victor AD was also on stage to perform his most trending song yet: ‘Wetin We Gain’.

Davido made an epic entrance, as he arrived on a suspended stage after he was introduced by actor, Idris Elba. He kicked-off his performance with ‘Aye’ and proceeded to dishing out a large collection of some of his hit tracks, including ‘Dami Duro’, ‘If’, ‘FIA’, ‘Assurance’ and ‘Fall’.

Davido even shared a kiss with his girlfriend Chioma on stage, much to the amazement of the crowd. Indeed, he blew the minds of everyone who attended the music event. Have a look at the video and tell us if you agree.
