The singer recently revealed in an interview with NETng that he decided to action via a N200mn lawsuit after reaching out to Tiwa Savage on a potential copyright infringement.
Danny complained his words fell on deaf ears with Tiwa Savage that her lyrics were lifted from his song without due credit.

According to Danny Young, he said; “I wish that Nigerians would stop treating this issue of copyright violation with levity. A lot of people don’t understand how this thing works. They don’t even know the value of their copyright. It is no fault of theirs, though.
“It is because many artistes have been infringing other people’s copyright. Now everybody thinks it is a normal thing to do in Nigeria. Some people even think it is wrong to complain.”
Last November 2018, Danny had called out Tiwa Savage on the proposed infringement saying she lifted vital parts of his song titled ‘Oju Ti Ti Won’ on her track ‘One’ which she went ahead to release officially in December last year.
Recall that based on the complaint of Danny Young, YouTube pulled down Tiwa Savage’s song ‘One’ from the platform but this was eventually restored after fans complained against this action.
